July 1, 2024: Application deadline for Fall 2024 semester.

Eligible applicants receive consideration for a tuition-based scholarship as part of the admissions review process.

Application requirements are listed below. All completed applications are forwarded to the program faculty for review and to determine interview eligibility.

 

Application requirements

BS or BA degree from an accredited institution with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. The degree must be conferred prior to enrollment at ACPHS.

Prerequisite and recommended coursework:

MS Pharmaceutical Sciences recommended courses:

  • Molecular Biology
  • Human Physiology or Anatomy and Physiology
  • Biochemistry

Additionally, the following courses are recommended based on a student's area of interest:

Pharmacokinetics

  • Calculus I
  • Calculus II

Medicinal Chemistry and Synthesis for Drug Discovery

  • Analytical Chemistry
  • Physical Chemistry

Completed and officially submitted application, inclusive of:

  • Names and contact information of two faculty or professional references
  • Personal essay describing your interest in the specific master's degree program at ACPHS
  • Current resume or curriculum vitae (CV)

Official transcripts for all college-level coursework, including college-level work completed while in high school. 

All transcripts must be submitted electronically to Parchment or National Student Clearinghouse or mailed by the authorized institution to:

Although not required, GRE (general test) scores can strengthen a student's application. Official results should be sent directly to ACPHS (Code 2013) through ETS.

An official WES or ECE course-by-course evaluation for coursework completed outside of the United States is required and can be submitted electronically to either PharmGrad or ACPHS.

Official TOEFL (minimum score of 84) or IELTS (minimum score of 7) or Duolingo (minimum score of 110) results are required as demonstration of English language proficiency. This requirement may be waived for applicants who have been studying in the United States for at least two years prior to the time of application. Official results can be submitted electronically to either PharmGrad or ACPHS.
